We are often asked, “With all the needs in our own country, why don’t you work in the States?” Well, we have heard your and in response, we offer a program to assist church planters in New York City. These projects are quite different than what we offer in Central America and Southeast Asia, however, our foundational belief that we will serve under the leadership of the local church leaders remains steadfast. Because of the reduced cost of travel, this alternative might be an attractive first venture into short term missions. We have teamed up with dynamic church planters that are passionate about sharing the love of Christ with those who desperately need to hear it! From street evangelism to serving at a soup kitchen to reconstruction of old church buildings coupled with spending time with inner city youth, you will have an abundance of Christ honoring and personally fulfilling opportunities. The local churches will accommodate the teams – they can utilize their facilities as a “secure base” for all team activities. From teen to seniors and all those in between, we can tailor a project to fit your desires as well as to effectively assist those faithful servants who could use a helping hand.
