We believe that God is using his church as His primary instrument to bring about His kingdom. Through the church, He manifests His love and mercy to the world in tangible ways and changes lives one by one. Our calling is to be and serve the church in our love to Christ. Without the church, our efforts become simply disjointed human efforts at addressing problems with spiritual roots by using social solutions.
We have chosen to be with poor third world churches in Central America and SE Asia to receive a clearer vision of God and His kingdom. They have so much wisdom through experience that we cannot attain with libraries full of books. They love God, because He is all they have. We need their faith to move the mountains in our lives and country. We learn through relationships with our poor brothers and sisters, and are changed.
Beyond Partnership has gone to the national leaders of poor churches and asked how we could serve their vision for bringing about God’s kingdom in their country through the church. They know what is best for their country. They have asked us to build church buildings, where people can come and hear God’s word, change their lives and eventually their communities. We also help with children’s programs to bring young people into the churches and eventually other family members. We break bread with them, sharing the blessings God has given us. So we unite third world and first world churches together to serve the national vision, building relationships as brothers and sisters working in God’s vineyard as one body.
