Get Involved - Special Projects - Extreme Projects

These are construction projects designed to reach very rural villages that are out of reach of our traditional teams. They are located more than an hour from a decent-sized town which would have medical care and can only be reached by 4x4 vehicles. Extreme projects team members stay either in families’ homes or in communal areas available in the village. All meals are eaten with the nationals. Due to the nature of the project, these teams are usually limited in size to 5-9 men who are willing to ‘rough it’ for a week. There will not be a formal children’s program, although the group may participate in activities with local children.
