With a new year come new things. We just finished a project working on classrooms which will be used as a Christian School in Chinandega, Nicaragua. They plan to have North American teachers and give classes in English, with a very high academic level as well as a solid Christian foundation. Since many prosperous families will be attracted to such a school, the Nicaraguan ministry plans to offer many scholarships to kids who would otherwise never be able to afford such a school. The hunt for teachers is on. Teachers would need to be there in July. This is an amazing opportunity to serve the poor, learn Spanish and a different culture, and get to know God in a different way.
